Your Home is More Than a Beautiful Space

Have you ever walked into a home and immediately felt comfortable, peaceful, and welcomed? Then entered another space that was beautifully decorated but somehow didn't feel quite right?
I've always believed that our homes should offer us something far more meaningful than attractive furnishings and carefully coordinated colors.
Our homes should nurture us.
As an interior designer and Classical Five-Element Feng Shui consultant since 1998, I've spent many years helping people create environments that are not only beautiful but also thoughtfully arranged to support their individual needs.
Beyond Interior Design

Interior design considers color, furnishings, lighting, textures, and the practical arrangement of a space. These are all important elements in creating a comfortable home.
But Classical Feng Shui introduces another dimension.
Rooted in ancient Chinese traditions, Classical Five-Element Feng Shui considers the relationship between a building, its surroundings, compass orientation, the passage of time, and the people who occupy it.
Unlike decorating trends or one-size-fits-all solutions, Classical Feng Shui offers a personalized framework for evaluating a living environment.
I like to think of it as discovering the unique energetic blueprint of a home.
The Five Elements of Harmony
The Five Elements—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—are central to Classical Feng Shui.
Each is associated with particular qualities, colors, shapes, and materials.
When thoughtfully incorporated into a space according to traditional Feng Shui principles, these elements can help guide decisions about furnishings, colors, and arrangements.
However, Classical Feng Shui isn't simply about adding a fountain, painting a wall red, or placing a plant in a particular corner.
It involves understanding the individual characteristics of the building and how the different elements relate to one another.
What works beautifully in one home may not be appropriate for another.
That's why I believe personalized guidance is so valuable.
Creating a Home That Nurtures You
Think about the spaces where you spend most of your time.
Does your bedroom invite relaxation?
Does your living room encourage connection and conversation?
Is your workspace comfortable and organized?
Do you have a special place where you can simply sit, reflect, and enjoy a moment of peace?
Sometimes creating greater harmony begins with something as simple as rearranging furniture, introducing a different color, improving lighting, or clearing away things that no longer serve a purpose.
Other times, a more comprehensive evaluation of the home can offer fresh perspectives.
My goal is always to combine the practical beauty of interior design with the traditional principles of Classical Feng Shui to help create a home that reflects and supports the people living there.
Your Home Should Tell Your Story
One of the things I love most about my work is that no two homes—or families—are alike.
Your home should reflect your personality, your interests, your memories, and the things that bring you joy.
It doesn't need to look like something from a decorating magazine.
It needs to feel like your own personal sanctuary.
A place where you can relax, feel comfortable, and enjoy the life you've created.
After all, our homes are so much more than the walls surrounding us. They're where we gather with loved ones, pursue our dreams, create memories, and find refuge from the demands of everyday life.
Refresh Your Space. Revitalize Your Life!
Whether you're planning a renovation, settling into a new home, or simply feeling that something in your surroundings could be improved, Classical Five-Element Feng Shui offers another perspective to consider.
